     Cleveland's Resume

Cleveland Goldfarb is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel owned by the Goldfarb family of Charlottesville.

Age: Born on April 6, 1999 in Hollywood, MD.

Location: Cleveland has spent his entire life on Wayside Place in the Rugby Road neighborhood of Charlottesville.  He can be seen frequenting the neighborhood on numerous walks, sporting his jaunty orange and blue collar, as his loyalty lies with the UVA Cavaliers  (bada bing.......).

Education:  Cleveland possesses a dubious degree from puppy school, although nothing has come of the training he received.

Favorite Pastimes: are garbage crawling, sleeping, playing with cat, Oliver, eating, sleeping, and chewing on his Hurl a Squirrel - and of course, walking with Cynthia whenever the occasion presents itself.

Cleveland is still seeking gainful employment and hopes that this web site opportunity will lead to profitable connections. Community service hours are completed by making all those around him totally happy.

Rusty

Rusty was born in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Central Virginia in January 1999.  Raised in the country as an outdoor dog, he romps the hills at will.  All the neighbors adore and love Rusty.  He's extremely affectionate and has always been searching for a "pack" of his own.

When his owners moved to a small apartment in 2005, they couldn't take Rusty with them, so gave him to their neighbor, Cynthia Elkey, the owner of Rover's Recess.  Now he's living the life of luxury with 2 humans, 2 cats, and 2 other dogs, with a bed of his own and 2 square meals a day (and numerous treats!)

He still romps the hills, accompanied by his humans and his canine pals.  He no longer gets to howl at the moon (and annoy the neighbors), but has the security of a home (where he can hide during thunderstorms.) He's a happy puppy dog :)

Billy

Billy was found somewhere in Fluvanna County with his mom and his brother, where the Fluvanna Co. SPCA rescued Billy and his family.  Dennis and I saw him at the Pet Supply Shop over behind the 7-11. Billy was so shy, he couldn't look at us and he would hide his head under our armpits.

I wanted him (like I always want every animal) and Dennis was the bad guy (as in "no, we can't have him"). So I went in to get some cat litter and when I came back, there was Billy on Dennis' lap hiding under his jacket. I guess you can figure out that Billy came home with us.  As a pup, he had been so traumatized that the FSPCA organizer was surprised to find his cage empty on their return. Billy hardly walked at first; I carried him around when I "walked" him, because he despised the pavement. But I'm sure you know Billy isn't a bit shy anymore. For a mellow fellow, he's somewhat of a ham, as evidenced by the picture on the right, of Billy chillin' with his pal, Milo.
